Welcome to The Enlightened Friends Centre.
We are currently based at two venues, the first being at Stanshawes Court Hotel in Yate and the second being North Common Village Hall, Warmley. We open the Stanshawes venue fortnightly on a Wednesday and North Common Village Hall the last Tuesday of each month.
Brief History
The Enlightened Friends Centre began its' infancy at Shire way Social club in a small room which held just about thirty people. Here we provide fortnightly evenings of mediumship followed by Spiritual healing. As our popularity increased we needed to move and so on the 29th August 2005 we moved to The Tern Inn in Chipping Sodbury, which gave us the more room we desperately needed but still allowed us to give the personal touch. We were fortunate enough to have Dot and Alf begin the next stage of our journey with us.
As we were finding people coming to us from all across South Glos. we decided to create another rather than just expanding the size of the hall. We ventured to Warmley where we opened North Common Village Hall. We have had a huge amount of support at Warmley which we thoroughly appreciate.
Today
Beyond our regular evenings of mediumship we also provide Spiritual healing after our Wednesday session and on some designated Monday evenings. Spiritual Healing is completely free of charge. Once a year in the summer we do a big event raising money for suggested charities, as well as occasional raffles also raising money for causes.
Finally, our main reason for being a centre is help people, as friends do. As such we also provide a Spiritual healing course and circle and offer counselling.
